Romanticizing What It Feels Like to Belong to Each Other In the Season

One day, this version of them, of you, will no longer exist. We pay attention, study the smallest details, and savor nostalgia like tomorrow is not promised. Yet, the truth is, nothing preserves the texture of togetherness quite like a photograph.

The inner child fully expressed in your partner, the wise eyes of your father, your baby’s leg rolls you can’t stop chewing on, and the woman you’ve become. You deserve to look back on this time and remember what it felt like to love deeply here.

Family Sessions

“She has this really calm, easygoing presence. Nothing felt forced or awkward, even with kids involved (which says a lot).
And the photos… Not overly posed or stiff - just real, honest moments that feel like us. The kind of photos you keep going back to.”

Hills I’ll Die On As Your Photographer

As parents we know that this is our kids' world, and we’re just living (and getting snacks) in it! Well the same goes for family photos! The more you try to perform and perfect your way into the session; the more you’re going to be disappointed by the outcome. Let your kids be the artistic directors of our session! Let them chase the lady bugs, splash in the puddle, play dinosaurs in the field of wildflowers, and hide behind their dad’s leg. We have the time and nowhere else to be but here - as they get comfortable and come alive in front of the camera! Trust me the best family sessions are the ones that are play and curiosity led - not controlled by the idea of the perfect shot!

During your session, I guide you through natural movement and genuine moments of connection - leaving just enough space for your family dynamic to come rushing in. This approach not only grants you the space to move through the initial (and inevitable) nerves and awkwardness; but it captures the richness of your personalities in real time. Leaving you with photographs that are a true representation of this version, together.

I want to shoot you where you feel most like you. Sure, I’m always down for pushing a creative edge or going on a new adventure. However, only if it feels like a natural extension of your values, character, and taste. Listen, the truth is that we can make art anywhere! As long as you feel comfortable and safe to be fully in the moment. If that’s in your living room, it’s in your living room. If that’s on a hike in the mountains or over a milkshake at the local diner, let’s go there. Just remember that when you look back on these moments; you’ll remember what it felt like to be there. & the images will expose it too! Know that it doesn’t have to be fancy or visionary to be special; it just has to be undeniably yours. From there, the magic will photograph - promise.

No 1. Guided Connection > Posing

No 2. Who You Are Is What Your Photos Should Be

No 3. Let Kids Art Direct

My two daughters, becoming their mother, lifted my eyes to the art of living.

To: the choreography of morning coffee, the symphony of a backyard snowman, the sweetness of parenting with my husband, the silliness of sisterhood, the romantic gesture of the long way home, and all of the reverence tucked into the ordinary days we're alive in.

They reminded me that the most sacred moments are rarely the loudest ones. They're found in the relationships that reach for us, the chaos that consumes us, and the traditions that gather us.

That's the heartbeat behind every photograph I create now.
Not perfection. Not performance. Not a carefully curated version of your life.
But the texture of it.
The togetherness of it.
The indescribable feeling of being with this version.

Because photographs are proof that you payed attention, too. That you loved and were loved. That this beautiful, fleeting, ordinary life happened.

And that, to me, is art.
