My best wedding and elopement galleries stem from the couples that trusted wholeheartedly. Not only me, but what was unfolding for them moment by moment. The truth is that your day or weekend is not going to be perfect. The itinerary will shift, the weather will humble you or your Aunt Anne will forget the something borrowed. & yet none of that matters as long as you stay open minded to what’s possible and surrender to where your love is dying to take you. That’s the whole point!
During your special day, I guide you through natural movement and genuine moments of connection - leaving just enough space for your chemistry and closeness to come rushing in. This approach not only grants you the space to move through the initial (and inevitable) nerves and awkwardness; but it captures the richness of your dynamic in real time. Leaving you with photographs that are a true representation of your devotion to one another.
I want to shoot the two of you where you feel most like you. Sure, I’m always down for pushing a creative edge or going on a new adventure. However, only if it feels like a natural extension of your values, character, and taste. Listen, the truth is that we can make art anywhere! As long as you feel comfortable and safe to be fully in the moment. If that’s in your living room, it’s in your living room. If that’s in the heart of the Santa Fe Art District or on a helicopter ride in the mountains, let’s go there. Congrats on your engagement! I couldn’t be more excited for the two of you as you choose each other in this and every lifetime. But truly - finding the best part of you - there’s nothing like it! I hope that you’re reveling in every champagne toast, planning date night, and ring wave ahead of you!
With that, I’ve done this work long enough to know that planning a wedding or elopement is a full time job in itself. And it can be very overwhelming - especially as you’re narrowing in on some of those big decisions like where you’re running away to and who you’re bringing with you.
